Continuous Bag Sealer Layout Illustrations
Continuous-motion bag sealers like Band Sealers, Hot Air Sealers, Pinch Bag Closers and Hot Glue Sealers are typically built and supplied in an orientation that has the bag traveling from the Right to the Left as you face the front of the machine. This is called a "Right-to-Left" machine. Most bag sealers also operate in a vertical orientation - that is, the bags stand upright (vertically) while being sealed. Therefore, most bag sealers are made as "Vertical, Right-to-Left" machines.

Vertical Sealer Layouts
Bags / Pouches are sealed standing in a VERTICAL orientation.
A conveyor is required for packages with a gross weight of more than approximately 8 oz.
STYLE “A”
Flow is from RIGHT-to-LEFT as viewed
from the operator side of the sealer.
STYLE “B”
Flow is from LEFT-to-RIGHT as viewed
from the operator side of the sealer.
Horizontal Sealer Layouts*
Bags / Pouches are sealed laying in a HORIZONTAL orientation.
A conveyor is required to support ALL bags/pouches sealed in a horizontal orientation!
STYLE “C”
Flow is from RIGHT-to-LEFT as viewed
from the operator side of the sealer.
STYLE “D”
Flow is from LEFT-to-RIGHT as viewed
from the operator side of the sealer.
* Not all sealers are available in the horizontal configuration (e.g. PBOM Bag Closers and Glue Sealers, are only offered in Style A & Style B formats.)
