5505 Auger Packer (for valve bags)

The 5505 Auger Packer uses a horizontal auger to fill valve style bags by screw feeding granular, pelleted, dry, and fine powdered materials through a valve opening in the top of the bag.

OPERATION: Operator places empty bag on filling spout and initiates filling cycle.  Auger feeds at high speed to "bulk" fill bag.  As weigh in bag approaches target weight, auger slows down and "dribbles" material into the bag until the target weight is reached.  Operator removes filled bag.

The 5505 can be used in single or dual-spout configurations - with manual of fully-automatic bag hanging!
